Favourite Find!
I was scrolling through my instagram the other day and I see someone has liked this lovely piece of jewelry, so obviously I have to check it out! As soon as I saw the picture I fell in love with the necklace. I went and checked out all the other pieces and I can't lie.... I LOVED IT ALL. (I wish I could buy the whole shop)
Anyway, coming up to Christmas -ekkkk- I thought this was a great thing to show you guys because they're such great little pieces to give someone.
So..... the big reveal what is this wonderful shop?
The shop is called Empty Casket - http://emptycasket.bigcartel.com/ - all their pieces are so original and I couldn't find anything as great anywhere.
This is my favourite piece from the whole site. I'm definitely putting this on my Christmas list! This is the Inverted Pentagram Necklace and is only £13.00..... yes I did just say £13.00. I have so much to say about this and I could go on about how much I love it but rather than reading that you could just go and buy it.
It comes on a black cord which I personally think looks a lot better than a chain especially with this charm.
I'm also loving this bad boys. They are the Blood Stone Crystal Point which are £15.00.
I love how they are bound to a silver plate with a little pattern at the top, I think this just finishes them off. I also love how they have these colours running through them. The one on the left reminds me of the night sky and the one on the right reminds me of either space or even an oil spill.
Now I did say I preferred the black cord but here I must say the silver chain just goes perfectly as it adds light to the piece and is plain enough that it doesn't draw attention from the main focus which is the necklace.
I could go on and on about all the pieces on the website but that would take a lifetime. I struggled to find two products that I liked and that never usually happens with any jewelry.
If you're reading this go and check out the Empty Casket's website because you won't be let down and like me you might want everything for Christmas too!
Not all their pieces are dark and black, there's so much nice colourful pieces but this is just what I really loved from the site.
That's it for today's blog, sorry I haven't done one in ages, I've been so busy.
Hope you liked this and GO AND CHECK THEM OUT!!!

Autumn Favourites!
I'M BACK!!!! *que round of applause*
Hi, Hello, Bonjour, Hola, Ciao, Hallo (etc).
For my first blog back; from what seems like months, I'm going to do an Autumns favourites post!!
I'm going to get straight to the point. This has everything in it so it's really just a random selection of things I've been loving not specifically fashion/makeup.
MUSIC FAVOURITE(S) OF SEPTEMBER/AUTUMN:
I have so many music favourites but I'm just going to chose my top two which is still hard!!
My first music favourite is by OneRepublic and it's Counting Stars. I've been really loving this song and when it comes on the radio or tv I just can't help myself and I have to sing a long to it.

Next up I am loving Berzerk by Eminem. I have always loved Eminem and can never really fault any of the musics he makes because there's just something about it I love. This is probably his most well known newest pieces that everyone's listening to and I just keep on hearing it and have to stop what I'm doing to listen! Coincidentally I have been listening to this whilst writing this blog post.

I could write the longest list of the songs I've been loving forever but that would take a whole week!
MAKEUP FAVOURITES:
Of course because it's Autumn I have to have some makeup to match the weather.
I haven't actually brought these specifically for Autumn but I have them and they suit what's on trend for makeup this Autumn so I thought it's better than having to buy some new makeup...... Although this would be a good excuse.
First up is a Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze.
I've had this product for a few months now and haven't really used it too much until it has come to Autumn because I thought it was quite dark for an everyday Summer look but it's the perfect colour for an Autumn everyday look.

As the name tells us this a bronze colour with small little sparkles of silver running through it. When you apply the colour you can either apply it lightly for just a little bronze shimmer or you can apply quite a lot to create a bronze smokey eye. The colour is so pigmented as you can see from the picture, so you can actually see it on the lid unlike some products like this. The colour lasts all day although does fade a little throughout the day but not by much because you can still it when you take it off that night.
Another Autumn makeup favourite of mine is Topshop's lipstick in Beguiled.
I really, really love this lipstick! I can't tell you how much I love it, it's brilliant. It's the perfect Autumn colour, it's a lovely wine/burgandy colour with some purple running through it. The lipstick is very pigmented and suits any skin tone. I'm pale and so dark or bright lipsticks don't usually suit me but this is perfect and that's one of the reasons I love it. On the website it's described as a lipstick that is a little matte but still have that satin shine and I think that is truly what it's like, it's not drying at all and it stays on the lips all day. Once you take it off it leaves a little colour like it stains the lips but it's honestly barely noticeable.
I couldn't even get a decent swatched photo of this because the lighting is terrible but imagine the picture on the right with a little bit more of plum running through it and BAM! That's what Beguiled looks like. I wish I could get a decent swatched photo of this because I know you'd fall in love with it like I have.
Finally my last makeup favourite is a blusher. I was surprised this was in my favourites because I don't really wear blushers/don't really like blushers because I think they're such a hard product to work with and get right. If I do buy a blusher on the rare occasion I will go for a cream one but this one is not!
This blusher is from Bourjois and it is in the shade Rose Thé.
Not only do I love the colour of the blush I love the smell. Obviously Bourjois is a French named brand (i really hope it is) anyway, the smell of this blush reminds me of France. It has a very musky floral smell to it and I don't know why that reminds me of France but it does.

I really love the shade. When you apply it, it looks like a matte blusher but in the pot it has little bits of shimmer in it. The photo does it no justice and doesn't really show it's true colour. In the photo it looks like a peachy, coral colour but swatched on my hand it's a very light plum shade and that's one of the resason it's so perfect for Autumn because plum is such an Autumn colour.
CLOTHES FAVOURITES:
There is so much in my Autumn clothes favourite I don't know how I'm going to narrow this down but I'll stick to a minimum of two.
For Autumn I have been currently loving denim pinafores. Now I personally love the straight skirt/bottom part ones rather than the skater skirt bottom one's, I don't know why I just think they look a little better.
The first time I saw the denim pinafore's were in Topshop but I was unsure whether I wanted one because I didn't know whether they'd go with anything. So I waited it out but suddenly I had the urge to buy one and I was in primark one day and say it in front of me for the cheap price of £12.00 and I just had to get it! And I'm so glad I brought it because it's amazing. Now I don't actually have a picture of mine and I have terrible photography skills so I'm going to cheat and find one from the internet.
So this is the exact same pinafore as I have and it's amazing!
It is so worth the price of £12.00 and it looks amazing on. I pair mine with a thick white jumper or if it's a warmer day (I wish) I just pair it with a stripy top or a plain top. Anyone can pull this off and it's such an easy and simple look for those days when you can't be bothered but you want to look like you've put effort in.

My second clothes favourite is Tartan Trews (trousers).
These are the exact tartan trousers I got. I got mine from River Island for £30.00 but I personally think they are so worth the money. They are straight leg trousers and I really love these fits of trousers. I pair mine with either a white knitted jumper or a baggy black top tucked in and an oversized cardigan thrown over the top.
Tartan seems to be really in this Autumn and every seems to be selling tartan. This is great because I've always loved tartan materials, I just think tartan is a really nice pattern and it can be pulled off by anyone because it's not a shouty out pattern (if that makes sense). I prefer the dark bluey green tartan to the red one but I don't really care because I just love the pattern. I definitely think it is worth investing in a pair or tartan trousers or a tartan dress or skirt etc because they are so in this Autumn for fashion, pair them with a plain top and chunky boot and you;re away!
So..... That's finally it for my Autumn Favourites although looking over it, it seems more like a monthly favourites post.
I really enjoy doing these sorts of post just to share with you what I'm loving at the moment. Oh how cheesy of me.
Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed. :)

Blogs
Recently I haven't had enough time to blog, so I've made a plan!
(This could either go fantastic or horrible) Currently I've had tonnes of coursework, I take Art BTECH, English Literature and English Language as as you can imagine with these subjects comes tonnes of work, leaving me no time to blog. So I'm trying to get into a routine, I was thinking of trying to do smaller blogs that wouldn't take me too long to write either in the evening or every sunday night when I've finished all my work for that week and have a little time to do something (hopefully blogging).
So this is kind of an update and will start soon, maybe in the next month just so I can get used to things. I just don't want to stop blogging at all so I think this is a good way to keep blogging, my blogs may be less interesting or photo-less but as long as I'm blogging I'm happy. I also think it's a great way to help me with my english work and sometimes maybe even my art.
Yeah, bit of boring pointless post here for some people but just wanted to let people know in advanced and why I've been MIA for a little.

Mini Haul!!
This is something I've never done before so I didn't know what to think of it.
I've seen a lot of blogs doing this and a lot of YouTubers doing this so I thought I'd give it a whirl (fingers crossed). I know the basics of what I should say in this haul but I reckon there's a lot I could improve on doing this again.
Anyway, lets get started.
So, this is everything I bought, not a lot there but then again this is a 'mini haul'.
First up is some cute, cute socks from Matalan.
I love the print on these socks, they're just so, so cute! One pair is printed with foxes faces and the other has owls printed all over them.
Next up is some simple eye cream or eye balm as it says on the packaging.
I bought this because, obviously from looking at the cream, because I have really puffy eyes. I have only used this twice but I can actually see a slight difference in my eyes, maybe because I want there to be a difference or maybe because it does actually work! This is a creamy serum, to apply it you just have to pat it on rather than massaging it, which I think is a lot better because it doesn't give you any wrinkles whilst you're applying it. I apply this just after I have gotten up and before I've put my makeup on and then just before I got to bed so it can work over night on a clean face. I really hope this cream works because having puffy eyes is a pain when it comes to makeup!
The next product I got was the Benefit "They're Real" Mascara.
I've heard a lot of people recommend this product and I know a few people who have used it so I thought I'd give it a try and see if it does what it says (on the tin). I tried this mascara out this morning when I put my makeup on, I usually wear Maybelline "The Falsies" mascara so this was quite different - but in a good way. I wasn't use to the applicator so it wasn't very easy to apply the first time. But that didn't matter because it actually works so well! The mascara gives you so much length in your lashes and it looks like you have eyelash extensions on, the only downsides to this mascara is that it doesn't give you any volume to your lashes but I guess you can always use a mascara on top or underneath that gives you volume.
I then bought another bit of makeup which was Maybelline Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Eyeshadow.
I got this in the colour 'On and on bronze' which was one of my favourite colours from the selection, I don't like wearing bright eyeshadows so this was perfect for me. When I tried it out in the shop on my hand I loved the colour on my skin tone and I love the effect of it, it also stays on forever! When I got home it was still on my hand and wasn't faded at all! It is a bronze with a simmer in it in the light but also in the dark it does have the look of a matte colour. I also love the colour "Pink Gold" but the boots I went to didn't have this in stock, so the next day I went to Superdrug and bought it, unfortunately I don't have a picture of this, but as the name of the colour says it is a pinky gold, if used lightly and blended it can be subtle or putting more on you will get the colour showing through a lot more.
As I had lost my other pot - typical me - I went and repurchased a little tin of Vaseline.
(Bad blurry photo, excuse my bad photography). I just got this Vaseline in original because I use it on my eyes and so, unless I want nice smelling eyes something like the strawberry one would be a bit pointless. This is also to help with my puffy eyes (yes, I need two things for my eyes, they are that puffy!). I also will use it on my lips for when I want to wear lipstick so my lips are moisturised and smooth.
Last but not least, I went a repurchased the Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner.
This is my favourite gel eyeliner ever! I love it so much, it never dries out (unless you leave the lid off, surprisingly I haven't done that yet!), I've had my previous product of this for what seems like forever, I've defiantly had it more than a year, I might even say more than two! It comes with an eyeliner brush which is really useful and I personally thinks it works very well. I would really recommend this eyeliner to anybody, I think it's better than any higher end products like this as they are known to dry out quickly whereas this doesn't dry out at all. I could go on a lot more about how much I love this product but I don't want to bore you.
OK, so that's it for my mini haul, I hope this is alright because I'm not too sure about it but thought that I'd give it a try even if it is a complete disaster. I actually really enjoyed doing this blog, I don't know why. I really hope you all like this and if you do I might do a few more things like this (although next time I will take better photos).
Have a lovely morning/day/evening from wherever you're reading this.

Summer! (or not)
Last year we were all out in the lovely sun, eating ice lollies and ice creams, getting a lovely tan or in most cases horrible sunburn. Temperatures up to 30 degrees.
This year....well I don't have to tell you now, you just have to look out the window and the gloom of the weather strikes you.
Although it seems that the weather is changing it's mind yet again and we are being told that 20 degrees is expected. Well, we'll see if that's true....
I really wish the weather would make it's mind up and be sunny for more than a week, is that too much to ask.
Today the weather has actually been very decent. But instead of being out in the sun I've stayed inside, well I don't want to risk being as red as a tomato. I sunburn very easily, which I find very, very, very annoying. It means I can't be out too long or I have to apply the whole bottle of sun cream and walk around like an iced bun. I have to wear SPF50 and even then I still get sunburnt. The worst part, well that's when the sunburn just goes. It doesn't turn into tan, it doesn't turn into anything, I just go back to the pale, white sheet of paper colour I was before.
I say the weather was lovely today but I bet tomorrow the weather will be horrible and gloomy and there will be a few showers of rain.
Hey! Maybe I should be a weather lady, well we'll have to wait till tomorrow to see if I'm cut out for that.
I hope you all have had a wonderful half term/whatever you've been doing, hopefully next time it might be in better weather!

Summer Favourites
So, I'm getting a collection of clothes etc that I've been buying for summer. It seems as if the weather is perking up a bit so I thought I'd do a blog on my favourite clothes and accessories.
Firstly is a top that I've already spoken about in one of my blogs. It is a topshop cami in the colour chartreuse (which I thought would be a bright yellow colour from the picture on the website but it's more a bright lime greeny/yellow colour. Either way it is still lovely.)

I'm absolutely in love with this top! As soon as I got it I could not take it off. I love how light the material is and how soft it feels on your skin.
The only problem I had with the top is that at the time I got it I was wearing a dark coloured bra and it showed through very obviously so I had to go out ad buy another bra suitable to wear. But it wasn't a big deal and after that I just couldn't take it off.
The top is quite textured and has a crinkly effect on it which defiantly adds to the look and feel. It's not very obvious but somehow it makes the top.
The second item of clothing is a long black maxi skirt from Dorothy
Perkins with a little slit down the side.
I brought this quite a while ago and haven't really worn it because the weather hasn't been to good and I just haven't known when to wear it and what to wear it with.
It's made from a soft jersey material which feels nice on the skin and not too heavy. It's a pencil skirt fit but it's also loose (this doesn't make sense but I just can't think of how else to describe it.).
Being a short person maxi skirt's can look a bit weird on me; another reason why I haven't really worn it. But, I think this will look really nice in the summer and it will be a good change from wearing shorts all the time.
The third garment is another top. This time from Tesco.

I love this top, although I haven't worn it yet.
The reason for not wearing it is because it's extremely sheer and I just don't know what to wear under. I was thinking maybe a white cami but then I thought that might look a bit weird and then I thought well just a bra of that colour would look really good but \i just don't feel right being that exposed.
The edges of the sleeves are the most beautifully decorated. There are rows after rows of beads and it finishes the top off. I agree that the finish on the top isn't very good but from far away you wouldn't know.
I really can't wait to wear this top in the summer because the beads will shine in the sun.
Finally the last summer favourite of mine is a pair of sunglasses from primark. I hear your "ohhs" and "ahhs" about primark but this product is actually really nice for something from primark.

I choose this specific pair of sunglasses because of the little detail on them. The skull detail matches the skull detail on my bag and I thought matching is always good so I went in a brought them.
Generally sunglasses just don't suit me but these do. I don't know whether it's the shape of them or the colour. I usually go for lighter coloured sunglasses but this time I thought darker was better.

I brought all these products recently so they are all still in store, so maybe they'll be your summer favourites as well. If you want the prices of all the products just comment and I can find out if I can't remember.
I really hope you liked this blog because I haven't blogged in quite a bit so I thought this might be something everyone could read and enjoy (ok, minus boys there). Makes a change from my usual blogs anyway.
If you have any ideas on what else I could blog on just comment below (because I am stuck for ideas). I have a lot of spare time at the moment so I can do whatever, well as long as I can think about what to write, so thank you for reading and I hope to post again soon.
The second item of clothing is a long black maxi skirt from Dorothy
Perkins with a little slit down the side.

Review: Topshop
I haven't blogged in a while because my mind has gone blank and I've had no idea what to blog about, I've also been so busy and tired I go to do it and I just can;t be bothered...
I honestly still had no idea what to blog about today either so I thought I'd do a kind of mini review on a top I've ordered from Topshop
This top is called Petite Pasha Crop Cami in the colour Chartreuse. It wasn't my first pick of colours as there was another yellow one but trust it to not be in my size, so I ordered this one. The colours defiantly grown on me and seeing as bright colours are coming back into fashion I thought this would be good for the summer.
I had recently brought a new black maxi skirt and I've been looking for something to wear with it so when I saw this I thought it would be perfect. I only ordered it friday so obviously it hasn't come yet which is making me more nervous about trying the two together.
I'm quite in love with Topshop clothes at the moment because they're quite good quality and they also just look so good, the only thing i don't like about Topshop, and I think everyone can agree with this is that the prices of their clothes are just so expensive.
I'm really excited about getting this delivery (is that sad) just because it looks so lovely.
I think I might do another review once I've actually got the garment so I can tell you what it's like on etc and I'll post a picture wearing it.
Adios amigos.

The Wonders of Makeup
Like a lot of people I wear makeup, when I wake up in the morning I feel as if it's a great way to hide the flaws on my face: the bags under my eyes from the late night before, the odd spot that just magically appears over night.
I went out shopping the other day, last minute going into Boots I remembered I needed a new mascara, like always it makes me feel happier inside to get new makeup but by the end of paying I find it such a stressful experience, such a chore. You probably ask why it's so stressful, why it's a chore, well here are my reasons. 1. So maybe your previous makeup has been pants or maybe you just want to find new makeup, what do you go for? How do you know it it'll suit you, how do you know if it's good? 2. There are tonnes of different brands and in with the brands are tonnes of different variety. Do you want curly lashes or volumizing lashes? Would you like a powder foundation with mineral pearls in it or a liquid foundation? What about a caffeine filled under eye concealer roller or maybe just a lipstick shaped applicator type? 3. Finally you have to try as hard as possible to avoid the sales reps which seem to be dotted about in every other tile on the floor and then once you're grabbed by one you have to listen to them babble on about how to suits your skin tone or how it's appropriate for sensitive skin. You just think to yourself "Look, I only came here for one mascara and now you're trying to make me leave with your whole stand, let me gooooooo!"
Faced with these problems you have to get in and out of the shop as quickly as possible so, you grab the closest piece of makeup you need, just quickly checking in-case you hate it then, you look at the sales reps you are faced with and as fast as you can dodge your way round people to make you way past, you pay as quick as possible and then make a swift exit. The next day you use the makeup you've brought, at first you think it's amazing then it kicks in the mascara, eyeliner, foundation or concealer you have brought just doesn't work so the next day you have to go through this painful experience again. This is just one of the wonders of makeup; how dreadfully awful it can be.
The next wonder of makeup it's how massively it changes your appearance. In the morning I will wake up with the biggest, puffiest eyes.......20 minutes later I will look somewhere close to someone with normal eyes. This is one of the reasons I appreciate makeup so much, although making a hole in the purse it is one of those things I couldn't go without. But what if, what if i never experimented with makeup, I never wore it maybe i'd be happier with my natural self, I wouldn't be so fake, I would have such a false appearance. It's one of those things I question on a daily basis.

Keeping Up
I am one of those people who cannot keep up with the fast pace of the day, I'll have about 5 things to do at once every minute of the day. I'll try and do one thing then remember I have something else to do, I'll run around, bashing and bumping into people trying to get where I'm going as quick as possible to do everything I planned too, but things never lay out how you plan them and when you're most stressed and most rushed everything goes wrong in the worst ways possible.
Lets be honest when has any part of the day ever gone fully to plan, most often than not it's never, it's like somewhere, somehow, something has effected your day and it's going to be bad until the next, as soon as one thing in your day goes bad it's like a domino effect, one bad thing just seems to lead to another. We all run into that day where we just know it's going to go positively bad. Finally after your whole day has gone bad you just give up and sit there wasting your time when you could be doing something much more productive, I've not only felt this but done this numerous times and it just makes you feel so down.
People tell you many ways to keep up with your day, they say plan it, there's honestly no way to plan your day, your day just turns out how it turns out whether good or bad, we just have to deal with it and find some way to cope with the pressures of the day.
