The next wonder of makeup it's how massively it changes your appearance. In the morning I will wake up with the biggest, puffiest eyes.......20 minutes later I will look somewhere close to someone with normal eyes. This is one of the reasons I appreciate makeup so much, although making a hole in the purse it is one of those things I couldn't go without. But what if, what if i never experimented with makeup, I never wore it maybe i'd be happier with my natural self, I wouldn't be so fake, I would have such a false appearance. It's one of those things I question on a daily basis.

The Wonders of Makeup
Like a lot of people I wear makeup, when I wake up in the morning I feel as if it's a great way to hide the flaws on my face: the bags under my eyes from the late night before, the odd spot that just magically appears over night.
I went out shopping the other day, last minute going into Boots I remembered I needed a new mascara, like always it makes me feel happier inside to get new makeup but by the end of paying I find it such a stressful experience, such a chore. You probably ask why it's so stressful, why it's a chore, well here are my reasons. 1. So maybe your previous makeup has been pants or maybe you just want to find new makeup, what do you go for? How do you know it it'll suit you, how do you know if it's good? 2. There are tonnes of different brands and in with the brands are tonnes of different variety. Do you want curly lashes or volumizing lashes? Would you like a powder foundation with mineral pearls in it or a liquid foundation? What about a caffeine filled under eye concealer roller or maybe just a lipstick shaped applicator type? 3. Finally you have to try as hard as possible to avoid the sales reps which seem to be dotted about in every other tile on the floor and then once you're grabbed by one you have to listen to them babble on about how to suits your skin tone or how it's appropriate for sensitive skin. You just think to yourself "Look, I only came here for one mascara and now you're trying to make me leave with your whole stand, let me gooooooo!"
Faced with these problems you have to get in and out of the shop as quickly as possible so, you grab the closest piece of makeup you need, just quickly checking in-case you hate it then, you look at the sales reps you are faced with and as fast as you can dodge your way round people to make you way past, you pay as quick as possible and then make a swift exit. The next day you use the makeup you've brought, at first you think it's amazing then it kicks in the mascara, eyeliner, foundation or concealer you have brought just doesn't work so the next day you have to go through this painful experience again. This is just one of the wonders of makeup; how dreadfully awful it can be.
The next wonder of makeup it's how massively it changes your appearance. In the morning I will wake up with the biggest, puffiest eyes.......20 minutes later I will look somewhere close to someone with normal eyes. Keeping Up
I am one of those people who cannot keep up with the fast pace of the day, I'll have about 5 things to do at once every minute of the day. I'll try and do one thing then remember I have something else to do, I'll run around, bashing and bumping into people trying to get where I'm going as quick as possible to do everything I planned too, but things never lay out how you plan them and when you're most stressed and most rushed everything goes wrong in the worst ways possible.
Lets be honest when has any part of the day ever gone fully to plan, most often than not it's never, it's like somewhere, somehow, something has effected your day and it's going to be bad until the next, as soon as one thing in your day goes bad it's like a domino effect, one bad thing just seems to lead to another. We all run into that day where we just know it's going to go positively bad. Finally after your whole day has gone bad you just give up and sit there wasting your time when you could be doing something much more productive, I've not only felt this but done this numerous times and it just makes you feel so down.
People tell you many ways to keep up with your day, they say plan it, there's honestly no way to plan your day, your day just turns out how it turns out whether good or bad, we just have to deal with it and find some way to cope with the pressures of the day.

Winter Wonderland
So I'm guessing most of us are experiencing the the ice cold snow, some of us are hating it: some of us are loving it, some are stuck what to think.
I wake up the next day to see that the sparkly white dust has still not disappeared. I'm not as stupid this time, I remember how I felt yesterday and tell myself "NO." after telling myself this I run through in my head how much I dislike snow.
So I huddle up next to the fire in my warming blanket drinking my hot chocolate topped with squirty cream, mini marshmallows and grated chocolate and I laugh at the snow and the children playing in it.

Celebrities and fashion.
Celebrities defiantly influence our fashion choices, once we see them wearing one thing everyone wears it the next day, it can be one of the smartest outfits which you'd probably only wear once or it can be such a casual outfit that you might wear 100's of times after.
Rita Ora influences me with her outfits, she can wear the most casual clothes yet wear them to such formal events, that's why i love her style so much.
Take this outfit for instants, she's wearing a smart emerald green blazer with a plain black baggy top underneath, she's wearing some hot pant styled shorts and a turquoise beanie, although the outfit is mainly casual because she has the green blazer on it changes the whole outfit, this is what inspires me so much.
The same sort of thing can be said for Cara Delevingne and how she influences me, maybe this is because the two are good friends and they take different things from each others outfits, just like we take parts from what they wear.
Although the stars clothes may be extremely expensive you can find exactly the same things on the high street and this is what's so great about having the celebrities styles to take different things from.
I think a lot of good fashion outfits and ideas come from every different celebrities styles and as well as high streets taking parts from famous fashion designers collections they also look at celebrities clothes and see what people are going to like etc.

Brains or Beauty?
Brains or Beauty? How would you answer this question, would you rather have brains or would you rather have beauty?
This is a difficult question to answer, almost everyday I think about this and I ponder over the question for hours, I think, it would be amazing to pick brains, you could be the person to cure cancer or the person who can defeat world hunger but then, wouldn't it also be great to have beauty, in our day and age people are judged on their looks everyday, some people feel bad about themselves nearly everyday wouldn't you just like the feeling of not having to worry about that.
My answer to Brains or Beauty is that there just can't be one. It's impossible, you'll tell yourself that you're certain saying brains but in the back of you're mind you'll want beauty and the same goes for if you pick beauty. The thing is with either one you can get so far with it, brains: you could become a famous scientist or the prime minister, beauty: you could be the next Kate Moss or be an actor, there really is no proper answer for this question but just think about what it you did just have to pick one.

"Don't Talk To Strangers"
When we're little we are always told by our parents "don't talk to strangers", when we're little we follow this rule, but as we grow older it seems to have just been chucked out the window.....We seem to chuck it out the window because of social networking sites. We think, just because they can't see us etc, it's different, maybe we even think it's somewhat safer.
95% of time it's not going to be some weird peadophile behind the computer screen and you can tell that. But then again, do you actually know who you're talking to.
I think the rule/saying "don't talk to strangers" is wrong in a sense, maybe "don't meet strangers" is a more relevant saying and it makes more of a point than "don't talk to strangers" it also has more effect it makes you think of the consequences.
Let's be honest who actually follows this rule? 99.9% of people don't. However it's probably one of the best rules we don't follow so lets be honest, who cares!

Happy New Year!!!
I always expect New Years to be great, I expect a massive party with loud music, fireworks and everyone around. I'd stay up till the early hours of the morning and then go to bed at some ridiculous time then finding myself waking up 3 hours later. Does this really happen though? No, I wish!
In reality New Years is pretty dull, it's built up with all these people saying they'll have parties but then suddenly they're cancelled and you're left thinking of a way to spend it. Eventually you give up, you have nothing to do so you prepare yourself for spending New Years in bed watching the fireworks on the telly at midnight.
But again it never turns out like this.
It get's to New Years Eve and you tell yourself you'll stay up most of the night and you'll watch all of the fireworks and finally you will ring someone just to have a little celebration with someone else.
Well again, this doesn't happen.
On New Years Eve you switch on the tv at 11:30 just so you're sure you don't miss the fireworks, you stay up watching a show and you're getting more and more tired. Then at about 11:59 you finally give up and go to sleep.
New Years almost never turns out how you've planned it.
Neither does the whole year, everyone almost always says "This year is going to be 1000000x better than the last" but this is never true.
It's like a domino effect the same thing happens every New Year, we seem to notice it but never do anything about it.

A Flash Of Light
Last night I was laying in bed blogging, I wasn't paying attention to anything around me suddenly I saw a big flash of light, I just thought it was my light playing up so I took no notice of it. Then I heard rumbling, the sound was getting louder and louder it stopped then seconds after the biggest bang erupted, I sat up catching my breathe again, it had felt like my heart stopped it was that surprising I stopped blogging and left them room and ran to "safety", it seems stupid now but at the time I wouldn't have done anything else. After a few minutes of collecting myself I return to my room the find my cat had scurried under the bed being just as scared as I was. I sat down to start blogging again more conscience of what was happening around me, I could hear the heavy rain smashing down on the conservatory and the howling of the wind.......THEN BAM!!! another boom and crash of thunder, I figured I'd get no sleep tonight, so I finished up what I was writing and closed my laptop.
I was laying in bed and I got a text from my friend, she told me that she'd got a power cut - I was lucky enough not too - and that she was extremely scared, I read on and finding out what she was scared about made me chuckle a little, then worry, she was scared of The Grudge - if you don't know what The Grudge is I'll briefly explain, it's a film based in Japan, it's a horror (at this point I won't go into depth), it all starts off with a man killing his cat, wife and child, he then kills himself, a few people enter the building where it happened wanting to buy the house, although not knowing what has happened, the house is cursed by The Grudge, The Grudge is made up of the women and child, so after entering the house you are cursed and The Grudge then comes out to find you and kill you, no one can explain it. So anyway I finished reading the text a little more frightened than before.
I ended up laughing about the whole thing, telling myself I was stupid, I found it quite funny really.

The Perfect Image
What really is "The Perfect Image", is there really a perfect image.
We all want to look different and however much you say you don't there's a little part of you that you want to change. We all aren't perfect, that's why we look for the perfect image and our image of perfect is different to someone else's. As I write this I think of a number of things I want to change about myself and then I think of a number of people I would really love to look like, there's always a celebrity that you know inside think you wish you looked like them.
Sometimes I think that thoughts like this just make me feel worse about myself and that it makes me notice what I don't like about myself more, and then it makes me think what can I change - do I really want to be thinking about plastic surgery.
I'm lucky to only think about changing minor few bits of my body, but what about people that want to change everything, how do they cope, I myself would never be able to live like that not liking one bit of my body, so in a sense I'm lucky.
Honestly I don't think there is a perfect image, in our heads there may be, can we really define perfect? Maybe even the people you find perfect have insecurities and maybe that's why most celebrities choose plastic surgery because they feel pressure to be perfect.
I think perfect is a term that can't really define anyone or anything, we throw the word around without it having a true meaning and that's probably what makes everybody so image obsessed.
There is no such thing as a perfect image so whatever insecurities you have, don't let them get to you, just think, you may be perfect to someone else and you're perfect in your own way.

TV Advertisements
Let's be honest who enjoys TV adverts, I certainly don't. They're just so inconvenient, you're halfway through watching a movie and then boom, straight to an advert ruining the suspense and build up of the movie.
I have 2 opinions on TV adverts, at first I see them as a pointless waste of time, helping add to the electricity bill and making you want to spend money on things you don't need, eventually giving in to the temptation of the product, but then I look deeper into what the point in adverts are and I realise that without adverts what would we have, we might not have our beloved toaster or kettle, we might miss our favourite programmes on TV.
We all say that adverts are pointless but really they're not, they do have a meaning to them, basically what I'm trying to say is we wouldn't be where we are without adverts, you may disagree but that's how I see it.
