As you're reading this you might have seen that my last post was over a year ago - probably not - but yes, it has been over a year since I last wrote on here. So, you may have been wondering where I have been and why I stopped the 2014 Blogger Challenge and I'm going to fill you in.
First off, if you didn't already know - I have blogged about this before - I have been up to my eyes studying and trying to pull myself through my last year of A - Levels and exams. This really had a major impact on time and so there was never really anytime to fit in writing blog posts that were actually readable as well as fitting everything else in. I've also started to self teach myself Korean, which I think is going well and again that takes up a fair amount of time but absolutely gets easier as I go on.
Another reason why the blogging stopped and why I stopped the Blogger Challenge was because it was no longer any fun! I started writing blog posts because I really enjoyed to sit down and just write, but when I started the Blogger Challenge I felt like I had to always write these posts and they always had to be some amazing, brilliant piece of writing for other people to enjoy which was never what I really wanted this to become - of course it would be amazing for other people to enjoy what I write but when I started blogging I really just did it for enjoyment and something to fill time with. I feel like my post slowly started to become tailored to what I thought other people would want to see rather than me just showing myself through the posts, I know I don't have a lot of people that read the posts compared to the millions of other blogs out there but I felt like I was trying too hard to tailor myself to others.
To put a long story short I feel like I really want to try out the whole blog again. This obviously means that the style and everything that the blog was is now going to change but hopefully people will like that and enjoy my new and refreshed posts. I am always up for suggestions on what to post on here because I generally get stuck for ideas so if anyone can kick me off that would be great. Once again I hope you guys will come to enjoy the new blog and what I'm going to put on here!
p.s Sorry if there are any spelling mistakes or a tonne of grammatical mistakes - there will be - I'm half asleep writing this but I really wanted to reboot this blog and so I just scrambled this together.
