Seeing as we're going into the New Year and I've been running this blog for quite a bit I thought this was a great post. I feel as if everyone who reads my blog doesn't know much about me and so this was a nice idea for you guys to get to know me better. No one asked me to do this, this is just an idea that popped up in my head but seeing as I'm doing it I'm going to challenge a few of you guys to do it, I know 50's hard but I reckon you guys can do it even if I failed, if not settle for 25 like I did!

I hope you all enjoyed this long and possibly boring post.
Keep a look out in what I think is the next 4 or 5 days for my first post of the 2014 Blogger Challenge.
Lastly, I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and got some lovely stuff, also have a wonderful New Year and have a fabulous time if you're going to any parties/celebrations tonight.

DIY: Cute Christmas Cards!

Firstly I would like to say thank you everyone that follows me on bloglovin', I reached 100 followers earlier today and that made me so happy, I never thought that, that many people would ever be interested in my blog! I think this calls for a giveaway so I will come up with something and go and buy some lovely things for you guys to win, this will probably take place after Christmas now; hopefully when I have more money! So yes, thank you all so much and I'll keep you informed with the giveaway!

Now onto today's blog post; which can I tell you I loved to do.
I've always wanted to make my own Christmas cards so they have that personal touch to them but I've always thought that it would take so long and it'd look extremely bad, but fear not! I have found the perfect solution to this problem. I came to a sudden realisation that the method I'm going for it just too difficult and I'm trying to make it too perfect, so I sat down and figured it all out and thought why not share it with you guys, I mean some of you may be stuck with the same dilemma.

I have put together a simple, 5 step tutorial for the perfect Christmas card drawing, if you want to know what that is then read on....
You will need:
A5 or A4 card to draw onto
Any kind of pencil
A fine tip pen
A rubber

Step One:
You can either go straight in with the fine tip pen or if you're a bit nervous take your pencil and sketch a tear drop shape that flicks out at the bottom, don't worry if your lines are wiggly, this just adds to the homemade feel of the card.
Step Two:
For this next step all you have to do is dot two little eyes at an angled line then fit a tiny triangle for a nose in the middle below the two.
Step Three:
Now, this is probably the easiest step of all and there is no other way to explain it other than, draw a semi circle in the flicky tear drop to create a cute tummy pattern on the bird.
Step Four:
All you need to do in this step is draw two thin sticks coming from the body of the bird, they don't have to be completely straight, one can be at an angle and the other can be normal. On the end of these sticks draw three small lines coming from the center point for the little toes of the birds.
Step Five (optional):
If you want you can leave your little birdie at Step Four but for those of you who want to add a little bit of pattern to the drawings I added in this step. All I did to create the pattern in the belly was to take different parts of aztech patterns and mash them up together, now you can do this pattern or you can come up with one that's completely your own, the great thing with doing this means no one will have the same design!

Once you know how to do this robin drawing you can make a fabulous, original card.
I came up with this design and I can't get over how cute it is and if you imagine it in colour is makes me want to coo over it!

The great thing about these designs is that they're not perfect and they don't have to be so it gives you more freedom when drawing.
I definitely think friends and family will adore something like this and you can even personalise them with the person name which makes it even more great.
If anyone has made a card either tag me in a post on twitter: @lion_princess_ or tag me in a photo on instagram: @ana_sadler or even better lets start a hashtag (this won't happen but lets give it a go) called #AnasChristmasCards I would love to see how yours turned out if you have tried it!
I hope you all enjoy Christmas on Wednesday (in England) or whichever day it is anywhere else and I'll next see you either just before the New Year or in the New Year!

Dream Job (remake)

If you're one of the people who has been reading my blog from the start you may remember this very poor post (dream job) I have just looked through my blogs and firstly seen how horrible it is but also how my opinions and thoughts have changed.
Alongside still wanting to become some amazing person at Vogue who writes flawless articles there is a new career I want to pursue. Now these jobs probably couldn't be anymore different and at complete opposite ends of the spectrum; well they are in my opinion.
So, what is the other dream job of mine I hear you ask? Well that job is......... A FRIDGE MAKER!
.....No, no, all kidding aside my other dream job would be a tattooist/tattoo artist.
This idea of becoming a tattooist came after someone said "You should be a tattooist!" and I sat there like "No, no." but after thinking about it, it became an idea that just stuck in my head, I then had a wave of ideas go through my head of what I'd be like when I'm older and all the amazing work I'd do and then transfer onto actual living human beings.
I've tossed and turned over it and can't decide which I feel is better but if I ever; and I emphasize on the ever there, get a job as either one of these people I will be the happiest girl ever!
Both of these jobs interest me so, so much. I would love to be a journalist... as you can probably tell from me setting up this blog, and it'd just be amazing to inform people or interview people and have my pieces read by 100's, 1000's and in my wildest dreams 1000000's! Not only that but it seems like a fun, enjoyable job (probably totally wrong there) because of the social aspect, you would get to meet tonnes of thousands of people and be able to share interest, or bounce off each others ideas.
Then onto tattooing, again there will be the social aspect, you would see a lot of people walk in and out of the studio everyday, each with (hopefully) a smile on their face from the job you've done, but also being able to put your own artwork on to a living person and them walk around with it on, showing it off for everyone to see, you could get so well known from that. People wanting you artwork on them is another aspect, it's great to know someone wants it and love it so much that they will pay to have it permanently engraved on their body.

So anyway, I think I'm getting too in depth and serious here.

Now I did say in my Christmas Wishlist post that it was probably the last time I was going to blog before Christmas but that's a lie and here I am. I also think I will be doing another post on Sunday if I can find something fun and interesting for you guys, maybe a haul of Christmas presents friends have given me so far? Or a Christmas outfit or makeup post(not that I'm that good at those sorts of things)? Let me know if there's anything you guys can think of or want me to do in the comments. If not then this is for sure the last post before Christmas. So.... Have a Wonderful Christmas.
I would also love to know what your Dream Jobs are so please comment below and tell me!

OH! And finally, as you may or may not know I have nearly hit 100 followers on Bloglovin' and I have gained a tonne of Google+ followers (thank you!) so I was thinking when I do I may host a small giveaway where you can win a few nail varnishes or some makeup something along the lines of that.

Christmas Wishlist

As it's edging closer and closer to Christmas I thought I'd have to do a few little Christmas posts on my blog otherwise it would feel wrong.
This is the second Christmas post and I know they're all pretty shocking but I'm giving you all I've got! I've seen a few of these post so I thought why not, I'll give it a go.
This is my Christmas Wishlist!

First up is something I've been eyeing up for a while now. It's from the Drop Dead website. For those of you who don't know much about Drop Dead Clothing or you have never heard of it before; it's an alternative clothing line, they have new and original pieces that you can't find anywhere else. This little beauty is the Death Bed Mesh Top. Unlike the model I would probably wear something more than just a black bra underneath. I don't know why this top appeals to me so much but I really love it, the design on the back is just so simple but pulls the whole thing together. This top is £43.50.

Next up are the cutest socks I've ever seen! They're from Topshop and they're £3.50. I don't have much to say about wanting them apart from the fact they're so cute. They also make me think of a vintage teddy bear because of the print on them. I love the burgundy they're put on because it makes them stand out and give it more of a vintage feel, Topshop also did these socks in a navy blue which I also adored but I saw these first and then didn't really look any further to see if they had any navy blue ones on the website.
Another product that I've been eyeing up is a MAC eyeshadow in the shade Cranberry. This is the perfect autumn/winter shade, it is a mix of pinks and berry colours which creates a perfect easy to wear shade. This eyeshadow will suit any coloured eye and will bring out the eye colour so strongly. Depending on what format of eyeshadow you buy will determine the price so I'd go and check out the MAC website and look at the best deal you could get.
Last but not least is the thing I most want on my Christmas List! After seeing various quotes and pictures from the book I instantly knew I needed this book. Even after just seeing the cover of this book I knew I needed it. I know every girl has this book and it's not a surprise that I want this but from what I've seen I'm already in love! I'd say this book (even though I haven't read it) is the epitome of perfect and so is Alexa Chung. On Amazon a hardback cover is £11.55 and I'd much rather prefer hardback to paperback as paperback books are so delicate and get ripped or scrumpled so easily in your bag. I'm actually going to go as far and say this is an essential for every girl and if this is not on your Christmas List, why not!?

That's it for my Christmas Wishlist, there's not a lot there but I could come up with a whole rooms worth of gifts so you'll be glad I kept this small.
I hope you're enjoying these Christmas posts more than I enjoy the build up to Christmas!
This may or may not be my last post before Christmas unless I write anything in the next week or even a special one on Christmas Eve!! I would love to know what you guys are loving so comment or even do a whole blogpost like me and tag me so I can have a read through.
(If I don't see you or write for you have a wonderful Christmas everyone, I probably will so this is irrelevant.)

The Christmas Tag

Image from Google.
I got this tag from Amy. So if you'd like to see her post click here.

What is your favourite Christmas film?

Of course my favourite Christmas film has to be Elf! This film never fails to make me laugh and it's actually the only Christmas film I will watch!

What is your favourite festive colour?

My favourite festive colour has to be an emerald green. This is for many reasons which are too boring to explain but also because it goes perfectly with my ginger hair!

Do you open your gifts on Christmas Eve or Christmas Morning?

Always Christmas Morning! However tempting it is to open them the night before I just think it's wrong!

What is your favourite winter fragrance?

I don't actually have a winter fragrance but I love to wear my body shop body mist in vanilla everyday because it's such a lovely scent.

What is your favourite Christmas scent?

I love the smell of cinnamon and all spice, every time I smell it I always think of Christmas and it just brings me images in my head of sitting by the fire opening presents.

What is your favourite holiday drink?

My favourite holiday drink is a classic hot chocolate with cream and marshmallow, I think it's just so perfect. Although I always have to have a tea as well.

Candy Canes or Gingerbread Men?

This is such a hard decision and I honestly can't choose between the two!

What is your favourite Christmas song?

I don't really like Christmas songs (you're all going to hate me now) but if I had to choose one out of everything I would choose Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You. I don't even like that one that much.

Have you ever made a snowman?

Yes! Numerous times I have made a snowman on the off chance it has snowed although I can't say they were the best looking snowman. If it snows this year I'll definitely give it a go again and tell you all how it goes.

What is the most important thing to you about Christmas?

I can't really say I know what the most important thing about Christmas is for me. But I think it's just a nice event for everyone to get together one day and try and get on; not that that plans out.

I tag everyone who reads this post, let me know when you have done the tag in the comments section below as I would love to have a look through all of your answers.

Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm

This lip balm is probably the best on the planet... NO! In the universe.

MY FAVOURITE LIP BALM EVER! I swear I'm not even exaggerating, this stuff is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.
As you all know winter is the call for chapped lips to appear and everyone will agree they're not the easiest thing to make just disappear.
I was in the market for a new lip balm that I actually liked! I had been using Maybelline's Baby Lips which are perfectly moisturising and just as amazing as everyone has been saying but they had that horrible, artificial, unnatural lip balm taste which made me feel sick so I needed a new lover for my lips. I had heard a few people talk about Burt's Bees products and they had nothing bad to say so I knew I had to try it for myself.
I was out Christmas shopping a week ago and I thought it was the perfect opportunity to sneak one for myself. So I did and it was the best decision I have ever made.

I picked up a tinted lip balm from their collection in the colour Hibiscus as I had remembered seeing Zoella feature it in one of her videos.

For a tinted lip balm it has an amazingly pigmented colour, but it can be sheer if you apply it quite lightly. It's a pinky, plum colour which is perfect for the winter.
The lip balm is 100% natural so it doesn't have that horrible taste to it or a horrible smell. It keeps your lips moisturised all day long and although it feels like all the product may have come off it's still working and you don't really need to top it up.
It's £5.99 for a tinted lip balm which I find perfectly reasonable considering how good it is but if you're looking for something cheaper then their normal lip balms (which there are a variety of flavours) are only £3.69.

This is definitely a product i'm going to repurchase again and again. I also want to try more of their products considering this is amazing i'm sure everything else will be too.
If you're looking for a new lip balm I would advise you to go and buy this product because I can guarantee you will not be disappointed!

YouTubers I've Been Loving This Month.

This post doesn't really need explaining, I'm going to get straight into this one, no long intro.
(*DISCLAIMER* The photos are stills, or photos from the youtubers so all credit to them.)

The first YouTuber I have been loving this month is... Velvetgh0st. I had followed her for quite some time on my old instagram account and I loved her account and all the photos she's been posting. Eventually she made a YouTube channel which was very exciting. Her videos are so fantastic that she has managed to get over 40k followers only starting her YouTube account this year!! She posts every Monday and Thursday (I don't know how she does it.) and I watch her videos religiously. Gabriella's videos are mainly beauty themed but she does have a vlog channel called PlanetGabb and she uploads every week. She only set up her vlog channel recently and a lot of the time states that she is 'really bad at vlogging' but I enjoy them so much and think she is terrific. I definitely think Gabby deserves millions and millions more followers. Gabby also has a blog which I adore - http://velvetgh0st.blogspot.co.uk/ - she doesn't update that very regularly but with the amount of videos she uploads who can complain! Gabby's videos never fail to entertain and I'm always excited for what she has coming up. I'm also pretty sure I've watched all of her videos!

The second YouTuber I've been loving (and I'll think you'll all agree with me) is Zoella!
What to say about Zoe.. I LOVE HER! Zoe is probably one of the most widely know YouTubers and why not, her videos are fantastic. They make me laugh so much and she's always happy which adds to a video 100%. Although Zoe doesn't upload that much; which I can understand because she's obviously very busy, her videos are always different and always have an amazing focus. I also love her blog so, so, so much but she doesn't update that regularly so I relying on her videos to get me through the week. Zoe's vlog channel MoreZoella gives us a more personal look into her life and we get to know Zoe a lot better through that.

Finally the last YouTuber I have been loving is Tanya Burr. I have watched Tanya's videos since forever. I think I started watching her videos religiously a year ago and since then I've been in love. She uploads every week and has a variety of different videos she does, it ranges from makeup tutorials to hauls to tags. I love the variety she brings because it gives you an insight into her personality. I love the fact that she is quite open on camera and gives us an insight into her life which is something most people wouldn't do on the internet. I JUST LOVE TANYA TO PUT IT BLUNTLY.

I can't deny that I think these 3 are the best YouTubers out there. Through their video they entertain you and make you laugh and the way they present themselves through the video almost makes it feel as if you're with a friend. I don't think I could ever do what they do and they impress and amaze me everyday. In a cheesy kind of way this is a little Thank You for making YouTube videos and for taking up such a large amount of your time to entertain us. All these girls will go far and soon enough they'll all be in magazines and newpapers and even on the tv! Gabby, Zoe and Tanya you are all amazing. (Oh look at me being a little fangirl, I would have never seen the day.)

My Style Inspiration.

My style often changes drastically and this is often because of celebrity influences.
I did a similar post to this at the start of the year ( http://anasadler97.blogspot.co.uk/2013/01/celebrities-and-fashion.html ) and I know my style and inspiration has changed so much since I have posted it. I've actually timed this quite well as my first post was at the start of year and we're nearing the end so it's great to be able to compare what difference a year (or a little under) has made.

MY NEW CELEBRITY STYLE INSPIRATION:

NO. 1 on my celebrity style inspiration is Hannah Snowdon
(Just so you all know; none of these photos are mine or photos I've taken.)

Ok, so this is the first out of many pieces she wears. I often see her wearing chunky knit jumpers in photos which I totally love. She seems to be one for casual pieces and her outfits are always simple (IN A GOOD WAY!).
The knitted jumper she is wearing here is from The Ragged Priest. They have their own website: http://theraggedpriest.com/ or some of their items are sold on the Topshop website.

You will often see her wearing clothes from her boyfriends clothing line: http://www.dropdead.co/
The clothes are to die for although a bit pricey. I could honestly buy the whole shop!
The clothes have a grungy feel about them and are really original.

Hannah Snowdon also wears a lot of dresses which show of the amazing tattoos on her legs. I can't find any photos of the types of dresses she wears (gr) but a lot of the time they are black dresses and they are usual quite a loose fit. I don't know where she shops specifically but you can find similar things to what she wears anywhere.

I can't put in to words how much I love her style and how much I wish I could pull it off like she does. If all it took was to cut my hair into a bob with a full fringe and dye it darker I totally would.

I feel as if this blog post should have just been dedicated to Hannah Snowdon. Compared to Rita Ora and Cara Delevingne, Hannah Snowdon's style is very different and looking back now I don't really like what Ora and Delevingne wear. It's strange how much things can change in nearly a year. I think I'm going to be sticking to this style for a while because I'm loving it.

Short, sweet and simple post here so hopefully it's not too boring or poorly explained, I know my short post usually don't make sense because I try and cram so much into a few paragraphs and often I just write a load of rubbish.

I would love to know who your style inspiration is.

Simple Eyeshadow Look - Grunge, Cara Delevingne.

Eyeshadow is probably either one of or the most difficult pieces of makeup to apply without looking like you've been dragged through a bush, because of this most of us; including I, don't use eyeshadow making us not like it. But this is where it stops. This is where you're going to start loving eyeshadow again.

*Lets just clarify again. I do not think I'm good at makeup, I just do what works for me and others may do it a completely different way but this is how I like to do a simple eyeshadow look.*

Now that's out the way I hear you ask what do we need?
Well...
You will need (or I use):
Either one or two fluffy brushes.
A stiffer brush for going under the eye with; or just a pinky finger will do.
A brown eyeshadow (preferably matte).
A brown or black khol pencil eyeliner.
Black or Brown mascara.

HERE GOES NOTHING:

Grab a brush and some brown eyeshadow
This is the brown eyeshadow I'm using and it's from the MUA Undress Me Too palette. It is the shade Lavish and is a very muted brown colour.

Now, what you need to do to start off with is sweep the colour across the whole of the lid. Once you have done that all you do is start blending upwards towards the crease. If you go over the crease it's fine it will just create a more smokey look which is always great! Once you feel you have blended enough and got rid of the harsh lines you are done with the top of your lid.
Now blending is difficult at first and does take some practice but as long as you don't apply too much product you can't go wrong. The best tip is to start off with small amounts of shadow and just keep applying until you get you desired look.

Then taking your stiffer brush just run that same brown along your bottom lashes remembering to connect and blend in to meet with the eyeshadow at the top.

Then taking your brown or black khol pencil eyeliner line your tightline and waterline, this just gives your lashes a fuller effect and makes the eye look more polished. I've used a Lancome khol eyeliner in the colour 02 Brun.

The last step is mascara. You can curl your lashes before if you want to but I generally don't. If you have quite dark lashes you may not want to apply mascara but if you're like me and have very fair, blonde eyelashes then a coat of either black or brown mascara will finish the look perfectly. Don't apply too much mascara thought, just put on enough to make the lashes look still a little natural because clumpy, lashes filled with mascara will ruin it! I use Benefit "They're Real" mascara as I son't own a brown mascara but brown is best if you want to achieve a more natural look.

And TA DAH it's done. 4 simple steps to follow and you're now an eyeshadow genius!
I would love it if any of you tried this out and told me how it turned out. Hope it helped for all you people that struggle with eyeshadow just like me! Sorry if this is hard to follow, it was something that came into my head out of the blue and thought it was probably better and much more interesting than pictures of my hot chocolate and me drinking my hot chocolate!

Anyway... Hope you enjoyed this and I would love to know how you guys got on with this small tutorial kind of post!

Yummy!

I haven't got much to post at the moment, I'm kind of stuck for ideas. But! I didn't want to just leave you guys.
This may be boring but at least I'm blogging hey.

The other day I went to a Christmas Fair. I was intending to take photos, but I gave my camera to my sister who thought it would be nice not to which I was annoyed about. Anyway, the only few pictures I did actually get were of a hot chocolate I had in the cafe bit there, so rather than nothing here is a picture (or 2) or my delicious hot chocolate.

I even managed to take a selfie of me drinking it!

Well hello there red face!

This was better than nothing but probably completely pointless and a waste of time..... STILL! Hope you enjoyed it!

Favourite Find

This is the second jewellery favourite find in only a couple of days, wow!

This shop followed me on Instagram and I had to check them out. The shop is called Idle Hands and their website is http://www.idlehandsjewellery.bigcartel.com/ they have some really unique pieces of jewellery and all for really good prices, they also make some really cute floral headbands which I adore. I'm loving all their jewelley and defiantly thinking of buying them as gifts for people (might want one or two myself).

I'll start of with the quite normal pieces of jewelley they have that I love.

First is their Elephant Necklace.
Image of Elephant NecklaceI literally love any jewellery that has Elephants on so this suited me perfectly! It's really cute and has a decorative head piece thing on which makes it even better. It's all silver which is great as I often think a lot of gold jewellery can look tacky. It's also only £12.00 which I think is really great for something this amazing.

The second piece of normalish jewellery from their website is the Demon Necklace.
Image of Demon Necklace
I think this little guys face is so cool. The jewellery is so detailed and made to an amazing standard. Again he's silver which I love and his face isn't massive so won't weigh you down. This piece is also only £12.00 which is fabulous! I actually think I really need this little guy in my life.

Last from my normal pickings is the Silver Fox Neckalce.
Image of Silver Fox Necklace
I really love this one because it reminds me of the story Fantastic Mr Fox. It looks like a cute little cartoon fox and the fact that it's not perfect and symmetrical makes it look even better. I also need this in my life like everything else I am going to put in this post. It's only £12.00 again. And like the other two piece it comes on a 20" silver plated chain.

Moving onto the more unique pieces.

Image of Vintage Taxidermy Butterfly Pendant
This is the Vintage Taxidermy Butterfly Pendant.
I am so in love with this. This piece of jewellery looks so delicate and precious I think I'd be a crazy lady and have to frame it (don't know how that would work.). It's £25.00 which I think is a reasonable price for what you're getting. I really don't know what to say about this because all that's going through my head is "I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT"

Next up is Message In a Bottle Pendant.
Image of Message In A Bottle PendantThis is so, so, so cute! I think this would be something I would wear quite regularly because it's so amazing and I'd just have to show it off. It's £22.00 which I think especially for this piece is very good for what you're getting. You also choose the message that goes inside the bottle which is even cooler! Definitely a good present to someone with a cute message put inside or just for yourself even.

Finally the Moon Face Pendant.
Image of Moon Face PendantI love the face on this. It's so quirky and reminds me of story books when you're younger and the sun or the moon always had a face and this is what that moon would look like. It's made from Ox bone so it's not any of that shabby plastic stuff. This is also £22.00 which is amazing as the ox bone is carved by hand!!

I also wanted to quickly show you the cute floral headbands they do. The prices range from £12.00 to £15.00 depending on the one you want.

Perfect, Simple Everyday Makeup Look

Admittedly I am not at all good at makeup; actually I'm rubbish! So....sorry in advance.
This is really out of my comfort zone but sometimes that can be a good thing.

I used to wear a lot of makeup.... and by a lot I mean A LOT! But I've toned it down because it's just so much effort and takes so long in the morning when I need to catch the bus. I have considerably lessened my makeup. I thought, why not let you guys have a little look into what I wear and see if you like it. I'm bad at introductions so I'm just going to end it here and see where the blog takes me.

OH! Putting this out here now before I rush into it and you think I've missed a step. I do not wear foundation so it won't be included in this post. I think everyday it's pointless, it just causes you to get more spots and we don't want that do we! But this is my personal opinion and if you like wearing it go for it.

OK, lets get started.

First off I will moisturize, I haven't photographed my moisturizer but I use the brand Aveeno and I think it's a sensitive skin moisturizer.

Next I prime my eyes.
Now I'm not 100% sure whether this is an eye primer because it only says "primer" so I may be using it wrong but, it does the trick for me. This is by Maybelline and I can't remember how much it cost because I got it about six months ago. It leaves the perfect matte surface to keep all your eye makeup in place. I just apply this with my fingers.

Then I move onto concealer.
Now I know practically everyone on the planet has this concealer or talks about this concealer so I'll try and make this as short and as sweet as possible. This is the Collection or Collection 2000 concealer and I have it in the shade Fair 1. It is a high coverage great for covering blemishes and those black circles from staying up late doing coursework and essays (Not that I do that ;) ) I apply this with the applicator and then blend with my fingers.

Now is the exciting bit (well kind of)
For the eyes I go simple. I'll either wear nothing or I'll wear Maybelline Color Tattoo in Pink Gold which is a nice subtle colour with some glitter running through it. This stays on all day, although it does get less noticeable by the end of the day. I use my fingers to apply this and blend this in.

I then line my waterline and add a little to my lash line.
I use the Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel liner which \i have had for ages! I use it on my waterline to hide the roots of my lashes as I have blonde lashes and often mascara doesn't get them and the I line the lash line so it makes my eyelashes look a little thicker. This is so easy to use and I find it better than Liquid Liner as it's less messy and stays on a lot better. I use the brush this came with to apply it.

Last but not least for the eyes is the finishing touch.
Yes you've guessed it....MASCARA. Mascara just finishes a makeup look off. I use Benefit "They're Real" and I genuinely think they make my eyelashes look longer. There's not much I can say about mascara because it's obvious how to apply it. I only put it on my top lashes as often; even with waterproof mascara, it will smudge or run or something ridiculous.

Now, sometimes I will put a lipstick on sometimes I won't. I have a choice of two here, one is definitely suited for autumn and the other is a great everyday lipstick.

The first is the toned down natural lipstick.
This is MAC's Creme Cup. It is a light pink with a blue undertone. It stays on for about two hours and then you'd have to top it up. I really love this as a natural lipstick and it is probably my favourite natural lipstick I own. In the photo it looks a little coraly (is that a word....?) but it isn't at all in real life, I think this is down to the rubbish lighting in my room.

And finally the autumn lipstick.
I've mentioned this lipstick before in blog posts so you can probably guess which one it is... Yes! Topshop's Beguiled. I don't need to say much about this because if you've read my previous posts you'll know why I love it.

Well.... That is it for my first every makeup look post. I hope you liked it and could follow it, if not I'm extremely sorry. I've never done anything like this before so bear with me on this post.

This Happened.

(PS EXCUSE THE DIRTY/MUDDY BEDDING HE SEEMS TO THINK IT IS ALRIGHT TO COME ONTO MY WHITE (!!!!!!!!!) BEDDING WITH REALLY REALLY MUDDY FEET -THANKS TOM CAT-)

But how can you stay mad at his cute, little face and his ears that he still hasn't grown into.
